Syeda was an excellent student in my Listening and Civil Dialogue course. I could always count on her to come to class and be prepared to discuss the day's topics. Her in-person and online discussions were thoroughly researched and thoughtful, using examples from local and global conflict situations. Having her perspective shared in my class enriched the experiences of the rest of the students. I often brought in examples she would cite to share with students, as they were new situations and cases that had not been considered in other class materials. She is also an excellent writer and thinker, asking for help when needed. It was clear from her performance in the class that she loves to learn and seeks opportunities to gain knowledge and skills in various areas.
